Alexandra Mayer with "Elessar"

DEVON :

Alexandra, along w/ "Elessar" showed successfully at Grand Haven in Prix ST Georges and Intermediaire; and at Lake Erie in Fourth Level and Prix ST Georges .

Having qualified to show at all three levels at DEVON,
Alexandra chose to compete at
Fourth Level and Prix ST Georges.

Enroute to DEVON, Robert, Alexandra and Lacey – traveling together and transporting "Elessar" – met with some misfortune. In order to not be involved in a traffic accident just ahead, a sudden stop could not be avoided and "Elessar" was thrown - crashing into the bars; breaking and bending parts of the trailer.
Upon arrival at DEVON, he was lame.

Though he had recovered enough by the following day to carry on, his ability to bend and extend was diminished - therefore keeping him out of the ribbons.

We are very pleased to report that DR Rebecca Seip ("Elessar’s" owner) was able to attend DEVON and watch him perform ... a/w/a in an exhibition at the ROMRA in - house show on the 26th and 27th of October.
