for
participation
in
equestrian
sports

Riding

shoes
should
have
at
least
a
1/2"
heel.

with
soles
that
are
not
fashionably
thick

tread
that
is
not
heavy
or
coarse,
as
the
rider's
foot
must
be
easily
made
free
of
the
stirrup
irons

Wear
comfortable
clothing;
suited
to
the
weather.

sweat
pants
or
jeans
are
appropriate;
no
shorts

the
winter).

In
addition
to
riding
instruction;
students
will
learn
basic
horsemanship
skills,
which
include
